14th century Rose cottage, Centre of Alfriston By Air Premier

Gorgeous little cottage for two in a great yet quiet location just off the High Street. The cottage was well equipped and the fixtures and fittings were of high quantity. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

It was all exceptional

The property was clean, tidy and if we had wanted to use the white goods, T, coffee, etc, everything was available. The property was in the perfect location.

The property was perfect. We arrived in the evening when it was dark. The video sent explaining the key safe showed a red door with a butterfly ornament on the wall; so that what we were looking for. Even with the postcode our taxi (from Lewis, there are no taxis in Alfriston) got lost. Once We did find it, all was well.

All the fixtures and fitting were of a very good quality. It was warm, comfortable and light.Had good wifi. It was right off the high street which ment you could walk to the shops and restaurants. It was a pretty area and quiet.

There was nothing to dislike.

Generally v good. Excellent location. Cosy.

The Nespresso machine makes very burnt tasting coffee. It needs a deep clean then regular maintenance cleaning. There is also a cafetière

It was absolutely fine for two people for a short stay, well equipped and spotless.

mattress a bit hard for us but not a great problem

Beautiful, cost little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and bed. Ideal location in the middle of the village and 2 mins walk from the south Downs way

We arrived in the dark and it was a little hard to find the house but it was fine in the end. The dog next door was very barky whenever we came in or out

Well equipped, bed great, spotlessly clean, well equipped especially the kitchen.

Property manager did not include directions to the cottage which resulted in an extended search in the dark to find it. No phone number provided to contact in case of difficulty. When we attempted to contact property manager the next day via phone, text and email, manager did not pick up the call or otherwise respond. He required multiple attempts before a response, and repeated prompting to solve a parking permit issue. Description of the parking permit location in email was incorrect—after much prompting he finally put us in touch with housekeeper who was lovely and quickly directed us to the permit.
