Spring House Studio

Lovely cottage. Cosy and comfortable. Immaculately clean. Fresh flowers, wine and biscuits were a lovely touch and much appreciated.

There isn’t anything to dislike. The bed is a sofa bed although this was explained in advance and was very comfortable.

The studio flat was well located and was very comfortable. Great retreat if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The wood burner was a treat.

There's a sofa bed that's very comfortable, but maybe difficult to get in and out of, if someone had mobility issues? We informed about this when we booked.

A perfect place for the short New Years getaway we were were after and had everything we needed for a cosy holiday. Our two small dogs joined us and given the wet weather we experienced, the laminate flooring was perfect ensuring they didn't leave paw prints everywhere! Liz provided a warm welcome, a bottle of fizz and luxury biscuits upon arrival which was a smashing touch especially for our arrival on New Years Eve. The place was warm on arrival and could easily be kept cosy with the heater, amazing log burner and underfloor heating in kitchen/bathroom area. We even discovered the setting of one our faves 'Detectorists' was just 30 min or so away so we headed there for some obligatory pics in the pouring rain! Looking forward to perhaps revisiting at a sunnier time of year and exploring more of the Suffolk countryside. If you're looking for a grown-up bolthole to escape to, this is perfect! Clean, warm and cosy the property was in an excellent location for my visit to the Suffolk coast. A lovely touch was the wine, milk and cookies that were left by the host but everything else was lovely too. There were plenty of logs for the woodburner which was definitely a plus on the cold nights of my stay. Communication was excellent throughout my stay. This property is highly recommended.

Nothing; everything was great.

Location was good for the reason for visiting. Countryside and an easy walk to the beach. Easy to access the other locations that I had gone for. The log burner was a nice way of heating the room and making it cosy.

The accommodation was well equipped, clean and warm. There was a lovely garden for the dogs and you could stroll down to the beach. There was lots of information about local walks, attractions and eating options. The host was very friendly and helpful and communicative. Although it was a sofa bed it was comfortable and easy to put up and down. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Everything was great, especially for a short stay. If I was staying longer a small wardrobe would be useful.

The facilities, decor, and location

The property was really nice. The hosts were friendly. We got exactly what we thought we were getting. We loved having breakfast on the patio, especially since the weather was glorious. The property is located in a lovely part of Suffolk that we had not discovered before. We were just a half hour's walk from the beach, which we practically had to ourselves, despite the hot temperatures. The swimming was lovely.

Nothing to complain about at all.
