Montrose Heights - 4Bed - 4Bath - Central Burnley

Location and facilities. Couldn’t find the cutlery but it turns out there are two hidden drawers. The cutlery was in the bottom and the label advising of the cutlery was empty. Contacted staff and this was resolved after a few laughs. Overall we were pleased with the house and will definitely use them again.

Stairs were steep going up to the bedrooms. The 2nd floor handrail was too low for my husband and son. Couldn’t find the nest for the central heating but was able to bypass this after contacting staff who gave me a text with instructions and put on via boiler.

We were down for a wedding and the location was 4 mins drive from venue - so for us the location was perfect. Tesco very near also and relatively easy to find/park.

Talking to our group, beds were uncomfortable and generally the property could do with some TLC. Just about enough cutlery/crockery to make it work for 8 people but only just and we needed to wash stuff before use. I think the host could do with spending the night in each room and experiencing the stay, might help to make improvements and fully fix the things that are not quite working.

The hosts were in touch offering support before arrival. The house was warm throughout (we stayed during terrible weather) Every item you could need was provided. The house was so comfortable like a home from home, down to cushions, throws, any kitchen appliance you could need etc the rooms were beautiful and decorated well. The hosts provided so much information and support you as much as you want. The price was competitive. Roughly the same as 2 double rooms at local travellodge but provided so much more room, extra comfort and lots of little touches which made a difference.

There was nothing to dislike. The only point to note for some, were the stairs were narrow/steep & the house was over 3 floors, I had elderly parents with me who struggled, however there was a lovely shower/wc off the utility room downstairs. Please note this didn't detract from our stay but is something to consider.

Good quality furniture etc

One of the bedrooms on first floor has a damp stained patch on the ceiling in the en suite. Also the toilet seat in the other en-suite needs adjusting as the lid doesn’t stay open (think the seats needs adjusting by moving it forwards)

The house was really clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s soo convenient to have toilet and bath in each bedroom (except for one but not a big deal at all). We’ve had everything we need during our stay.

Nothing. Everything was excellent!

Had everything we needed and allowed our children to feel comfortable and have space we wouldn’t in a hotel.

Stools at island in kitchen were wobbly and felt unstable at times.

How big it was, and how many bathrooms for us all to get organised in time

There was nothing really, I couldn’t get over to work but that’s all. Everything else was just what I needed

Property was perfect for our stay we had 6 people staying and we didn’t ever feel like we did not have enough space kitchen was amazing everything we needed rooms all upstairs but every room had an on sweat with shower can’t wait to go again
