Stunning location and very clean and well presented

No instructions on how to open velux windows and it was 30°! Also on how to use the hob plates ( we gave up.in the end snd just had beans on toast) Internet goes off at 10pm! Very strange and frustrating, Info on nearest shop for food would have been helpful.

It is a very clever use of the space, though it took us a while to get used to the spiral staircase. We felt perfectly comfortable and the location was exactly what we wanted, nicely central in the Peak District. Minor quibbles, the beds were split in the photographs but together when we arrived and we separated them. Maybe ask for preference when sending details? There is little space for food items, and the cutlery being on the bottom of a cupboard feels like lost opportunity.

Lovely cottage with everything you need, including a dishwasher! Loved the spiral staircase and the solid wood floor. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, friendly people, nice pub with great food only a few steps away.

The sink is very small, good for handwashing but I struggled to brush my teeth over it.

Location was ideal for travelling around the Peak District. It was lovely and quiet and a great set up. The cottage used its limited space wisely.

The cottage was very light which wasn't conducive to a good night sleep. Not all the windows had blinds and the front door had a light coloured blind so when the sun came up, very early in the summer months, it let the light in.

Lovely little getaway perfect for a solo traveller. Beautiful location and had everything you could need. Spiral staircase up to lounge area, with kitchen and bed on the ground floor. Would definitely return.

Dog didn’t love the spiral staircase, but luckily small enough to carry upstairs 😊

The accommodation was cute and quirky - just what I was looking for. Foolow is a fabulous location to just unwind, walk the dog and it has a great pub, with excellent food.
