Secluded enough for family time, but close to most places. Host was absolutely lovely and helpful if you needed anything, nothing was any trouble if we needed to know anything and informed us of where the supermarkets were and that there was a pub literally at the end of the road which was child friendly but cash only which was useful to know.

The one thing which was a little uncomfortable was the beds, but I suppose everyone's used to their own beds, so I wouldn't necessarily say we didn't like. From the reviews we read before going, I will agree the trains took a little getting used too, but we knew what to expect when we booked so we can't really complain about that. Overall I would recommend this place for the location and the friendliness, great place for anyone who's into walking and has a dog as loads of beautiful walks. Dvds and games were provided which if the weather is a little wet was a great touch, kids enjoyed valuable family time as did we.

Had a warm friendly welcome from Jill and her beautiful dog, fresh milk, tea and coffee on arrival was a lovely thought, very well equipped with everything u might need, handy washing machine in a little hut, immaculate inside the caravan and beautifully maintained outside with nice view of fields and woods where u can walk the dog, loved that there’s only 2 caravans on site so nice and quiet, great base for where we wanted to go, the trains didn’t bother us u get used to them, I would definitely book again, i would highly recommend chapel view we loved it so much, thank you for a lovey week x

Only 2 caravans on site , brilliant location for exploring. Spacious, well equipped and clean. Lovely friendly host.

Trains noisy ( knew about location in advance of staying). Would have preferred an electric kettle rather than one on the hob.

Was a little noisy with train but fine

Very clean with everything in the kitchen you could possibly need. Lovely location, except for the trains.

The trains - even on night 3 we were woken up by the trains from 5am.
