We have had an amazing stay at Thistle cottage celebrating my mum's 60th. The cottage is absolutely stunning and sparkling clean! Alex and Bart have fantastic interior design skills and decorated the cottage in great style. The bedrooms are gorgeous and super comfortable with comfy beds and crispy white sheets!!! The kitchen is equipped in everything you would need for cooking meals. The living room has wonderful log burner, couple of armchairs and comfy sofa, where you can enjoy wonderful view. The bathroom is lovely with stylish bathtub and separate shower cabin. I loved Alex's and Bart's attention to details with environment friendly cleaning products and cool toilet rolls! The front garden is fenced and secure, perfect if you are bringing your four legged friend with you. Our dog had best time running around and exploring. The surrounding area is just lovely with plenty of little walks for those who cannot walk much like my father. The cottage is in perfect location for those who like long hikes and Munro bagging and also perfect for road trips along the part of NC500 where you can see most breath taking views. During our 4 night stay we climbed 2 Munros: Ben Wyvis and Tom na Gruagaich, went for road trip around Torridon, visited Corrieshalloch Gorge and other fantastic spots. We highly recommend staying here! We are looking forward to hopefully stay here again at some point.

Cannot fault a thing!

Very picturesque place

We absolutely loved our short stay there; Alex and Bart have created something very special in the highlands with this cosy, relaxing, modern and clean cottage. Everything has been thought through with the environment between the furniture to the wood that they source from their forest. Our short stay was perfect, we loved everything about this cottage and the surroundings made it even better. There is incredible food nearby, we recommend the Cottage bar & restaurant (cheap and very good quality food and service, it's also dog friendly), we used the Tesco in Dingwall to get snacks for the night and then enjoyed the free Netflix and fireplace that was available. The cottage is warm as it modern with a heat pump, the shower is powerful and the bed is really comfy! We were gutted not to be staying longer but plan to come back again soon. Thank you again Alex and Bart for making our short time there as good as it was, it was much appreciated giving my girlfriend a birthday card and allowing us to stay there with our dog. - Jordan

Beautiful, spacious cottage set in a lovely location. The cottage has all the facilities you would need and was very comfortable. Very close to lots of amazing scenery, great walks, and there are many Munros in the area, so is ideal if you love the outdoors and hillwalking. Dog friendly with no additional charge, it was really nice to have everything included in the cost.
