"Lovely cottage, perfect location"

7.0

Location, bed comfort, kitchen facilities

Lack of heating. It was off all day and when we returned to cottage in afternoon wet due to rain, there was no facility to turn heating on as it was set to “out all day” mode and we were blocked from any adjustments. When it was on in evening it was inadequate and I had sit wrapped in a blanket. Left a day early

"Woodland Crag Cottage"

5.0

Quaint traditional cottage in lovely location. Lots of interesting objects within cottage and comfortable beds. Lovely enclosed garden to rear accessed through by doors in bedroom.

Hot water as supplied by immersion heater, does not provide a supply of instant hot water for all day use, if you shower more than twice, you are unable to have an additional shower/bath if needed. Booster facility did not work. Although most of cottage was clean and tidy, kitchen oven pans rusty and greasy. Toilets too near to bath and shower. Construction works at B&B next door, repetitive daily noise which ruined the peace and quiet.

"Cute, super cosy cottage in a perfect location. Will definitely stay here again."

8.0

Very cosy and incredible location. Great for multiple walks without having to drive anywhere. The lounge is perfectly set up for peaceful reading in the mornings and evenings (though they could probably do with clearing out or storing away the piles and piles of board games and puzzles). The rooms all have lovely views. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge and freezer are a really good size.

The mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable and all need replacing. The heating system is also very old and hard to control.

Location was excellent. Kitchen was well equipped. House was warm and cosy.

We did run out of hot water a couple of times meaning cold showers. But realised the limitation and timing of immersion heater.
