The only thing that did let down the idea of a ‘luxury lodge stay’ was finding a sticker label on the kitchen bin stating to remove & dispose the rubbish ourselves to avoid a fine. We thought this was rather odd and never have stayed anywhere to remove our own rubbish out of the bins. It doesn’t contribute to the relaxing/luxury holiday feel.

For four adults one of the single beds was not fit for use. Springs coming through the mattress. This led to one of us having to sleep in the lodge on the sofa which isn't that big ! Need to spend some money on better single mattress
GBGBIt was spacious, clean, well equipped and modern.
There was lots and lots of flies in the lodge when we arrived but it definitely wasn’t anything to do with cleanliness. I think the location of the lodge by the lake and countryside must just attract flies. It did just mean we had to have a hoover each day as we kept finding dead flies.
GBwe actually stayed at buttercup lodge due to an issue with primrose hot tub. buttercup lodge was excellent, spacious clean and all the equipment needed. hot tub was great too.
on the whole, the lodge was excellent. to be even better, the hot tub would have been warm and available to use on day of arrival. It could do with a remote control for the bedroom tv and one dining table rocking a bit. these are very minor points though on the whole it was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend.
