Camelford House

The space was fantastic.

It would have been nice if were able to stay out in the garden area after 10pm, as it was a beautiful weekend weather wise.

The house was perfect for our large group. Very convenient location, good facilities and very reasonable.

There was 17 of us and we could only just squeeze around the dining table

We really, really enjoyed our stay at the Camelford House. We were supposed to stay in a hostel but our booking was cancelled at the last minute, and we cannot stress enough how big of a lifesaver finding this house was for our group. It had enough beds for everyone (and the beds were all very comfy!), the kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery etc., the living room was nice and cosy, the bedrooms had enough power sockets for everyone (this was especially important as we had 10 teens in our group!), and we had no queues for the bathroom as there were several showers and toilets in the house. The owners were quick to reply to our messages and any issues we had, and overall were super friendly and helpful.

Honestly everything was so nice we had a hard time thinking of any flaws. The door to the shower room on 1st floor didn't lock properly (or perhaps we just couldn't figure it out), but it wasn't a big issue, as there were several other showers in the house.

We felt we didn’t have enough mirrors, pillows and lamps.

This is a perfect house for a large family or friends stay. The photos don’t do justice to how much room there is. Comfy clean and great location. Easy to get in, great communication from host.

Nice big house with great facilities in a great location. Excellent decorative upkeep.

Toilets could flush more easily. Top floor toilet was a pain to flush in particular.
