Sunnieside Cottage

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful garden to sit in which gets the afternoon sun. Cottage had exceptional facilities and Pam and Steve are wonderful hosts. Beds were comfy, rooms really lovely and fantastic shower. Kitchen really well equipped and such a comfy and cozy lounge. The 2nd floor bedroom was absolutely stunning and the views to die for. So close to the harbour and pubs etc but a really quiet location. Would totally recommend staying here

Nothing. It was all fantastic.

We were a group of four adults and the property accommodated as well. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook anything meal and the complementary spices, oil etc. makes self accomodating much easier. The loft bedroom was a wonderful retreat with magnificent views. A welcome package on arrival was a very nice surprise too. Overall the property was very comfortable, the location in Seahouses excellent and had everything needed for a very enjoyable stay, easily could have spent longer.

It’s perfect. Very high standards of comfort and everything you need. Tremendous views from the Crows Nest bedroom, looking both North and South. The wood burner on a Winters night is just bliss. Such a peaceful location but just a few minutes walk to Main St of Seahouses.

Amazing location right by the harbour. Stunning views from top floor. Very comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated, very homely and lovely extra touches - speciality teas etc and welcome basket.

Nothing along thicker curtains in the 1st floor bedrooms would have been nice. Also, not the proprietor’s fault but other people staying in rentals in the square didn’t keep to the parking which made that difficult.

The archway into the yard could do with a light for when you walk in after dark

Location ...everything within walking distance. The house had everything we needed and more. Communication with owners friendly and helpful.

Wish we'd received more exact details on the location - arrived in the dark during heavy rain and the postcode just took us to the general area. However, owners super helpful when we contacted them. The entrance to the carpark in a small side street was very tight especially for a 4x4. It didn't spoil the holiday, of course, but trying to avoid scraping the paintwork was a challenge.

Fantastic everything amazing place tp live 😀 Everything on your door step brilliant. Hospitality was outstanding and generous. So nice after a long drive to have a glass of wine and biscuits and cheese

The cottage was perfect in every way cosy spotless very well equipped stunning views from the top bedroom. Location was great with some nice pubs close by, the host left a nice little welcome hamper.

Nothing every thing was perfect

Gosh, very well stocked for food and amenities- showing a lot of care and thought had gone into this. The owners took time and effort to answer our pre-booking questions and were kind and helpful. Very clean and very comfortable. Loved the suggestions for takeaways, restaurants, places to visit etc. We would definitely stay again.

The stairs are very steep… but we did know this in advance and decided to go ahead, so that’s not down to the owners.
