Stay on the Hill - Self Catered Cottages Laverick and Bothy

Everything was fantastic. It was quiet and comfortable with lots of amenities. The dark skies at night were a bonus as you could see so many stars. The owners provided very good communication before arrival, so it was easy to find The Bothy. It was close to many points on Hadrian's Wall and the Falconry Center, so we had a blast exploring the area and flying raptors. We loved it and would stay again.

The Laverick and the Bothy were two gems on top of the hills of Northumberland. Both properties were cosy, clean and welcoming.

What a little find!! Superb views on this hilltop escape with only the cows for company. Just beautiful accomodation....spacious and clean and of a very high standard. Lovely people to deal with. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time here. Book with confidence :)

All good!! Only little thing may be the approach to cottage which is quite long and bumpy and a bit steep....didn't bother us but may be a problem for some.

Wonderful location, remote and quiet. The bothy was immaculately clean, with all the facilities you could need. Underfloor heating was fabulous.

The TV was temperamental with connecting to the WiFi, some of the furniture was a little wobbly (kitchen chairs and one of the lounge seats).

Laverick Cottage was just beautiful! High quality furnishings and finish, including Egyptian cotton bedding which makes all the difference. Location is stunning - the views are amazing! Loved the dog walks to the pub and back. Kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and we did a fair bit of cooking. Loved the cook books provided. We managed to leave a couple of important items behind, but owner contacted me quickly to let me know and was very gracious about it; posting the items on to me.

The only thing we found that needed addressing was a couple of pots had shaky handles.

The location is remote and very peaceful. The property has been recently finished to a very high standard, it feels like home from home. The facilities are perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The WiFi was quite poor. Because of the remoteness, we had to drive out for several miles just to get some milk, maybe a small bottle/carton in the fridge would be helpful for future guests,

The cleanliness and quality of the cottage were first class!!
