Northern Flowerhouse

Perfect location for us between city and university. All walkable Very attractive house, tasteful and comfortable. Enjoyed spending time there.

Needed some coat hanging provision in the entrance area. A small table in the sitting room. Steep stairs. Bins provision needs more consideration. Price seemed expensive overall even for York.

Location was excellent, very convenient for city centre.

Some small touches would have made a big difference to us - like providing bin bags for the kitchen, a spare loo roll in the bathroom.

Great location, quite despite road, good windows. Parking permit great as could leave car without worry. Thank you for welcome pack + kitchen bits. Location perfect for easy assess into York and welcoming local pubs. Well presented and thoughtful decor.

Not so comfortable for 4, as garden chair broken, only comfortable for 3 on friday eve. Could do with small table in front room, maybe an extra chair as little room for 4 to be comfortable and better facilities in bathroom for storage, shelf wonky no room for wash bits/ toothbrush etc. No long mirror in house. Lack of privacy in bedrooms if want to open curtains when dressing etc... All minor issues.

Very clean and cosy house with a nice little place to sit outside. Loved the gift basket on arrival. Had everything we needed during our stay. Its a short walk to city centre, the area is very peaceful and quiet. There’s a Sainsbury 5 minutes walk from the house.

Very small trashcan in the kitchen, had some trouble with that. And no paper towels in the house. But no major problems really.

Beautiful spacious house, lovely décor lots of utensils in the kitchen and a beautiful gift box left for us on arrival.

Heating wasn't working in the kitchen, in the back yard it was full of old dog poo and no wheelie bin to put rubbish in.

Parking permit was great and the welcome pack was a nice touch.

House needed a bit of TLC. Wallpaper coming off wall in bedroom and carpets not very clean.

great location and can walk to the city. Shops close by for supplies
