A truly special cottage in an amazing location. Well equipped, cosy and comfortable. A place to totally unwind and switch off. On the doorstep of Golden Cap, Charmouth and Seaton, so many places to walk and explore locally.

We loved everything....just be very careful on the paths to the cottage if it's wet as very slippery!

"Very good"

8.0

Loved the isolated location, and the setting of the cottage is wonderful. Easy to get to the cliffs for wonderful views, and walks. Took a lovely walk into Seatown via Golden cap and back via Langdon wood. Easy access to other nearby towns and attractions on the Jurassic Coast. Quaint cottage, had everything we needed (just 2 of us).

Unfortunately there is no nearby beach access from the cottage - if there was I would have given this a 10. Also, pack light - the trip from the car to the cottage is a bit tricky if you have some heavy bags! It is shorter if you carry luggage from the cottage gate (which you pass on the road in), but you will have to avoid a few nettles along the way...

"A lovely cottage in a fantastic location. Would recommend to anyone!"

10.0

The location is second to none - completely remote and a few steps away from the Golden Cap. The cottage itself is utterly charming with lovely original features and a wonderful garden. The higgledy piggledy stairs are a particular highlight! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we could have happily stayed for much longer. The walks surrounding the property are stunning. My other half's family have stayed here for decades and it's easy to see why. We hope to stay again soon.

I assume Lyme Bay Holidays who manage the property on the owner's behalf are responsible for cleaning. While it was mostly fine there was still dog hair on the rugs from presumably the most recent guests. Other than that though everything was great.
