Ramintoul Lodge

Lovely space for all the family. TVs In all rooms, lovely hot tub and outside area.

The location of the lodge within the park and the main room (several couches, chairs and log burner) were the highlights of this property. Access to the local town and several country walk around the area were also great. The property was cosy and well presented, tv’s provided in each room was a great addition especially for the times when you want an early night but still want to watch a movie etc before sleeping. Board games and plenty of dvds were provided in the cabinet under the tv in the main room. Kitchen had everything we needed. Overall the property sells itsself with the pictures you see, exactly how it’s advertised. John (the host) was an extremely friendly and welcoming person, providing all information needed for the best possible stay for his guests, checking in regularly to make sure our stay was going as good as it could was a nice touch. Although the property has central heating there js a log burner in the main room providing and alternative way to stay warm ( we visited the property in January and it was snowing outside, that paired up with the log burner made for an extremely cosy visit). Hot tub and outdoor seating are is also a part of it but as we arrived in January we were unable to make use of these - definitely will be visiting again during the summer to make full use of the whole property.

Location of property was stunning . It was spacious and comfortable and cosy with the temperature in the minus figures outside .

Beautiful cabin inside and out. Snowy weather but cosy inside. Hot tub was fabulous, festive lighting was beautiful. Outdoor areas will be fabulous in the summer including decking, pizza oven etc… Fleece bedding was a lovely touch for winter. Also log burner kept us toasty . Hosts were amazing so helpful at check in and had cabin ready for us. Prosecco and beers in the fridge were a wonderful surprise. Can’t wait to return . Highly recommended

The lodge was such a pleasure to stay in for a three night trip with my two friends. It's beautiful inside and out, so well stocked and nicely decorated. It felt very homely and warm but still clean. We just wish the rain stopped long enough to enjoy the lovely outdoor seating, but hopefully we'll be back soon in the sunshine! Great for families and groups for a nice cosy getaway close to some lovely walks and not too far off the beaten path for exploring the area by car or foot.

The only thing that could have been better was the water pressure in the shower, but that's understandable for the location.
