Blacksmith holiday home near Portree in central Skye

Nice central location in Skye. Comfortable and quiet.

Being used to having a dryer, line drying was different but worked out.

House is very new and clean. Kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook.

Not located within walking distance from Portree but if you have a car, it is within 15min drive.

Being able to cook family meals in a fully outfitted kitchen instead of driving around to find expensive restaurant meals

Idyllic location with plenty of room for your family, close to Portree and a great jumping off point to explore Skye.

My family and I have a very pleasant experience staying in this house. The house was spacious, comfortable with good view. We enjoyed sitting at dinning area as the view outside the glass window was so beautiful, same as the one shown in website. Kitchen equipped with complete cooking utensils that allowed you to cook any meals to enjoy with your loved ones. Location was also strategic. The house can accomodating 11 persons comfortably, best for big group of family or friends as host will unlock 5 bedroom doors of entire house and you can own the whole house during your stay

Loved the location. Views are postcard worthy. Access was convenient. Could not have asked for a better stay.

Well it is advertised as a cottage but I would say more a BnB or hostel. It has several rooms to accommodate different parties. So that is not what we were expecting. I had to keep asking if we were the only ones staying because that is how I booked. Then we were given certain room numbers to use. The second night someone had clearly been in the house and a light in one of the locked rooms was in. A little creepy. So it should be advertised as possible multiple shared rooms. Though we did not have to share we were just not expecting that.
