Perfect

Great location, clean and spacious bedrooms. Good facilities and a kitchen with everything you need for self-catering. A very short walk from town and some excellent bars right behind the property.

A cold kitchen - not a problem for the majority of the year but we were there in the winter and it was chilly.

Comfy beds and sofa, very clean and convenient location.

Could do with being spruced up- kitchen cabinet doors hanging loose, some rips in wallpaper, cooker hood fan didn’t work, needs new ironing board cover. Must stress-These were minor and didn’t impact on a lovely stay but they would improve look and functionality of a cozy cottage.

Central location

The cottage was very tired looking. It is in urgent need of a deep clean. Dogs were allowed and this was apparent in the state of the rugs on the floors Skirting boards, window sills badly need refreshed and painted The back door was to be used as the preferred entrance but you had to negotiate the weeds Car parking was in a courtyard to the rear of the property but entry was by a narrow opening off a main road. Because of flood works there were barriers on the main road which made it more difficult to use entry (in my opinion) so car park was not used. This should have been pointed out at time of booking I contacted Original Cottages and informed them of the above. I also contacted the owners and was told they would get the place cleaned as soon as possible, but I informed them that more than cleaning was required. They apologized and thanked me for my input. I have holidayed in various cottages over the last 10 years and feel that this cottage was certainly not value for money
