"Lovely house with great facilities and gardens - recommended"

Lovely spacious house and setting, pretty garden to sit in. It's rare to find a UK home with multiple bathrooms so this was great. Hosts very fast and attentive to questions. Nicely stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and very peaceful surroundings. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Bit of an ant problem in the kitchen and living room (no, we did not leave food out, before anyone asks!). This may have been a one off as we were experiencing unusually hot weather. Little bits of mould to be tackled in the showers.

Location

The host was very annal about parking. We had a friend visit who wasn't going to stay overnight. The host became difficult about where to park. We had 2 spaces & our visitor was using the 2nd space. So we didn't understand the attitude. Sad cos the venue met our needs & would use again

Historic, large enough to have a group of 8 adults and one dog. Lovely garden

No window or fan in bathrooms off of lounge Outdoor furniture was uncomfortable after a while, cushions would have helped

The garden and surrounding area were beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed, but needed a little TLC in areas more homely comforts would be nice .
