The Orangery

Beautiful property, lovely location, very peaceful and comfortable. The pool and hot tub was right next to our accommodation and were very clean. It felt very special to have exclusive use each day. Everything had been thought about. The hosts John and Sharon were very friendly and responded quickly to all communication. Would highly recommend staying at the Orangery!

Everything was amazing ! House ,pool jakuzzi.. all was awesome ! Sharon and John are such a nice and kind peoples . Me and partner run away from city ,for a short 2 nights break and we r so glad we choose this house . Deffinatly will back again . Trust me ,its worth , if you looking where to run away from all daily routine ,then its right place ! Peace,quite and relax !

The property was absolutely outstanding and exceptional. Me and my partner have stayed at a lot of properties over the years and this has got to be one of the best we have ever stayed at. A lovely remote location, very quiet and peaceful couldn’t hear any traffic.

Communication very good and we were met at our specified time with the keys and given a full explanation of all facilities as well as being shown the pool and hot tub facilities.

I don't often say this, but everything was perfect. And even surpassed our expectations.

Super clean house, the owners Sharon and John were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub facilities were amazing. Bed was very comfy and the whole place had a very homely feel. I would highly recommend a stay at the orangery, our expectations were definitely exceeded. Location was perfect, just a short drive to 4 different seasides. Lots of little bits were provided too such as tea, coffee, milk, toileries, towel, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, puzzles, games and lots more. We wish Sharon and John all the best and thank them for an unforgettable stay.

Nothing. It may not suit everyone as it is very remote, but we had the car to get about every day.

A pleasant and restful getaway for our first wedding anniversary. John and Sharon were very welcoming and attentive. It's a shame you don't have unrestricted access to the private heated indoor swimming pool and adjacent hot tub as you might expect when staying somewhere other than a hotel, but I can confirm you do at least get these fantastic facilities entirely to yourselves during use (meaning you won't be sat in the hot tub opposite complete strangers). Sadly they're only able to be booked for sessions of 90 minutes at a time due to the fact they're are also available to be hired out by others (such as locals from the village), meaning you can't reserve them exclusively throughout your whole stay hopping in and out at will unfortunately, however you are given first dibs. It's also worth noting these amenities are only accessible between 9am and 8pm too, so you're out of luck if you fancy an early morning pre-breakfast dip for instance. That aside though, first-class, reasonably priced accomodation with terrific facilities, in a thoroughly beautiful and tranquil area. Would highly recommend. We had a lovely time, thank you.
