GBGBRoadside Cottage is very small but well equipped and it had everything we needed in a great situation. It was ideal for 2 of us but some might find it too small for 4. Margaret’s shortbread on arrival was superb!
It was a bit cold the first couple of nights but Margaret turned up the heating on the Monday and we were fine after that; the strong wind was blowing in through the window vents.

GBThe cottage was in a wonderful place, just a 10 minute drive from Lerwick, opposite the sea. It was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. A great base for our stay in Shetland. Margaret was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The shortbread was a delicious surprise! The locals were incredibly friendly and helpful too. A lovely place to stay.
Everything was perfect. (The only suggestion would be to keep a small torch or some candles in the cottage, just in case there's a power cut.)
