The house was very spacious and bright and clean. Your essentials were there for you such as tea, coffee, cleaning supplies and also some toiletries. We felt this was an excellent touch. Tobi was excellent at communication throughout.

Not really a negative as it was dealt with. There was a slight oversight on the cleaners part. However we messaged Tobi and he was so apologetic and quick to respond. We really appreciated his communication on this matter.

The property was ideal for my family we were very happy to stay there. The heating made the place feel homely and comfortable.

Parking was easy

We were staying here as our son lives in the town. Once we had paid we had a long list of rules, one of which was that if someone visited the house who was not staying, there would be a £100 fine per day. So we asked for the booking to include him as he would obviously be visiting us. This added a cost £123! We have previously altered the number of people to accommodation before and not had an extra charge, so we were shocked by this. Also, having 'luxury' in the title of this accommodation, we expected a high standard. Sadly we were disappointed. Even though it sleeps 5, there are only 3 seats in the lounge, making evenings uncomfortable for relaxing. The dishwasher had drainage problems, the washing machine leaked, the oven took forever to cook anything, and 2 of the 3 oven trays don't even fit in the oven though they look well used. We had to wash the cutlery before we could use it, the wooden utensils were covered in mould. In the main bedroom there was only a small plug extension on one side of the bed, so we had to take turns in charging things and obviously the lamp on the other side of the bed was unable to be plugged in at all. It's the first time also that I've ever stayed anywhere and never had at least some milk left for our arrival, would have expected more from a 'luxury' house. Very disappointed.

Location was very good. Cleanliness and comfort was very good. The area was very good.

There was only one bathroom. No other toilet. There looked to be a cloakroom under the stairs, however, it was locked. It was very difficult for a family of 6 to use only one toilet. Secondly, we were told that if, upon checkout, we leave later than 10am, we will have to pay £35. It was extremely difficult for us to get children ready, pack up everything, make the house tidy and leave before 10am. Most landlords would not do this.

The property was excellent. It’s was spacious , very clean , Netflix in all the bedrooms and the lounge was an added bonus .

Near to the visiting places. My children loved the TV’s in each room.

Excellent Stay! Very clean, comfortable beds and the host was very helpful. Definitely recommend. Location was perfect for us and we took a trip to visit the lake district. Parking was easy and was good value for money for the stay.

Everything was perfect! We had a great stay.
