Quirky 3 bedroom property

Nice big bedrooms. Cosy once we got it up to heat. Good location. Owner kindly agreed to an 11am checkout as we had a late night on the Saturday.

Parking situation is bonkers. Not easy to do overnight parking. Involves a nightly trip to the car park to pay for the next day. Maybe there was an easier way to do it but we couldn’t find it. Took ages to get the house up to heat. Not enough mirrors (we were there for a wedding so we’re getting dressed up) and the one attached mirror is placed too high for an average sized female like me.

Clean, comfortable and right in the town centre. No problem parking nearby. Just right for us!

The only complaint is that the front door key didn't work faultlessly. I needed to get it just right to open the lock. Must be a simple fix to get a good key for the lock.

Everything was clean and well presented

The mattress on the beds wasn’t very comfy

Central location and good kitchen.

No extra bedding in case of cold nights. As a solo guest I was able to take a duvet from another bed. If all beds had been used, one duvet only would have meant a very cold night. House very cold until 8am But I guess it was January !

Characterful property that worked well for us in its location and size. Snug and welcoming.

Anyone with any sort of mobility issues or young children might not find the property easy to navigate. Bedside tables and lights on both sides of each bed would be helpful.
