JJs Lodge Azalea

As soon as we were checking in we were greeted with a warm welcome . The lodge was beautiful and spacious with great facilities , everything you need in the kitchen .there is a drinks bar so if you fancy a drink you can buy them and it will be deducted from your deposit. I would check everything is correct as there was an empty bottle of wine in the fridge ! I reported this straight away so I wouldn't get charged. The hot tub was huge and stayed warm all evening.the grounds are lovely, with large ponds situated all over the site. It was lovely to see all the ducks with their ducklings wandering around. The following day we went for breakfast which was a free complementary breakfast at JJs . It was delicious, there was also a vegetarian option which my husband had. He agreed it was best breakfast he has had in a long time.

I could have done with instructions how to operate the oven as couldn't figure it out, however there was an air fryer which I ended up using instead.

Everything! Honestly couldn’t fault it hot tub was brilliant, place was cosy and homely and brekkie was a lovely extra!

It was our second time staying here and again we loved it, a great relaxing stay, feels homely and is great having the hot tub too. Breakfast was great too, lovely tasty breakfast, staff were ace too. Worth booking a table in the evening for a meal as the food is really good. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Only complaint really is the master bedroom the mattress is thin and bit uncomfortable, was a shame the Tassimo coffee machine needed a descaling cleaning pod which there wasn't one and we couldn't get the main oven to heat up but luckily there was a counter top air fryer

Shower in ensuite was difficult to use because of the it wouldn’t stay in the place in the holder. Duvet cover sbd sheets were not consistent with the quality overall eg they were bobbly and looked a bit cheap.

We’ve stayed at this location multiple times now and love the location, the restaurant on site is really nice with brilliant staff.

Second time in a JJ lodge and they don’t feel like they’ve been cleaned properly. One of the pillows on a single bed smelt of B.O, luckily we only need one of the single beds.
