"We had a great stay, we'd definitely recommend Castletoun Cottages for a relaxing break!"

10.0

Lovely cottage, centrally located in Greenlaw village. There are plenty of nice walks nearby, Hume Castle (folly) has stunning views, and there are supermarkets just 15 min drive away in Kelso (Sainsburys) and Coldstream (well-stocked Scotmid). The Scottish Border towns and north-of-England sites like Flodden and Berwick-on-Tweed are within easy reach. The cottage is stone-built and stayed cool even during a very hot spell (early August). We loved the excess of bathrooms (two ensuites plus a downstairs toilet). Kitchen is small, but equipped with most things you might need if you rummage a bit.

A pan sized between miniscule and enormous would have been good, as the cottage sleeps 4. Some spare bin bags would have been handy, also more knives/forks (only 4 of each).
