Lychgate Cottage

Very comfortable, spacious and clean cottage. Perfect location to walk the 3 Peaks. The Black Horse pub is pretty much next door and serves delicious food. Very close to Settle.

Parking was difficult as the space in front of the cottage was never available and we struggled to get parked anywhere when we got back on the Friday evening.

Beautiful location next to the Church and a great pub on your doorstep serving good pub grub and drinks. The cottage is a perfect spot for couples looking for a little weekend getaway. Décor is a little dated but everything worked fine and the log burner kicked out some serious heat!

The street is tight for parking, lucky if you can squeeze into the spot outside the cottage. The check in time of 17:00hrs is too late, needs looking into.

Serious problems with poor plumbing in kitchen and bathroom. Water leaking through the ceiling into the lounge. The musty smell was probably due to this being a long standing issue as stains to the ceiling were evident. Fridge and freezer badly maintained.

Didn't expect or want 12 lengthy emails concerning the rental. Freezer needs defrosting - door not shutting properly.

The location excellent basic need all catered for. Information booklet was a godsend when trying to work tv and heating

Bathroom could do with a proper deep clean . Tiles were very dirty. Just aesthetics but didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay

Property was cosy and in a great location. Loved the village feel.

The toilet flush wasn’t strong enough.
