Peaceful and well-appointed cottage, for touring around Doset and the New Forest. Spotlessly clean and welcoming hosts. Main bed was extremely comfortable and the showers were powerful and always hot.

The second bed which is 2 singles zipped together did have a slight dip, maybe this is normal but I found it slightly uncomfortable.

The Weather

Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Fantastic dog walks near by. Hosts are great and we will definitely return.

Location perfect for our purposes visiting relatives. Well laid out , spacious and attractive. Good just being ground floor. Liked the provision of the en-suite facilities.

One mattess to the link bed in one of the bedrooms needs replacing. A few chipped mugs need replacing. One radiator in one of the bedrooms was gurgling which didn’t help sleep.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Very well appointed with a fab little private garden. We also had access to a courtyard for walking the dogs around late at night. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the whole property was beautifully decorated. We loved our stay at Dairy Cottages and will definitely go back. Collecting the keys was easy and Helen and Richard were very helpful. We were able to charge our electric car too. We took two small dogs with us who absolutely loved the garden and the courtyard. The cottage is well situated to get around and we visited Wimborne, Blandford Forum, Sandbanks and Mudeford.

If I could give Dairy Cottages 9.9 out of 10 I would but have had to choose 9 out of 10 as 9.9 isn't an option. My reason for not giving 10 is that we would have liked to have had a pint of milk and maybe a loaf of bread left for us as part of a welcome pack, as with other properties we've stayed at.
