Quiet Self contained Cottage near Delamere Forest

The cute one bedroom cottage, situated in beautiful Cheshire countryside near the village of Cuddington, was convenient for our stay as we have family near-by. It had been beautifully renovated by the owners who live in the big house next door. Tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed, it made for a comfortable stay. Lovely outlook onto the owner's garden. The garden was off-limits but it did have its own private courtyard that the bedroom looked out onto. The owners were very kind as we were arriving off an international flight so weren't sure what time we were going to arrive but this wasn't going to pose a problem even if we did arrive late. The cottage felt very safe being next door to the owners. There was also a secure gate to the road which was closed over-night. They also very kindly provided milk and eggs from their own chickens.

EVERYTHING. This is a really well thought out property. The location is superb. Comfortable sofa and bed . Exceptionally clean . Secure and secluded.

Beautiful place, so quiet and brilliant hosts.

The property has a lovely countryside location. It is quiet, surrounded by bird song. It is so peaceful. The property itself is comfortable and spacious, with all the amenities you need for a stay. The added bonus was the fresh hen and duck eggs available … lovely to watch the hens and ducks too!

Although the photos show a hand held shower on the bath this had been removed which was a disappointment as I’m unable to use the rain shower. This was mitigated as we only stayed one night but had we been staying longer would have been an issue. We have a portable hand shower that we could have brought but didn’t as this was a facility we checked we didn’t.

Very clean, comfortable and great facilities.
