"Excellent base for enjoying Freshwater Bay and local cliff paths and easy to drive further afield."

Location and Aspect, arrangement of rooms and choice of furniture, light and airy. Could sit out and eat on the balcony.

We would have liked a teapot and lids for the saucepans

"We had a glorious stay at Temperance. A perfect hideaway worth discovering."

The location is excellent and a good starting point for cycling and walking. The apartment is spacious for two people and is well-equipped. With the windows open, you're close enough to hear the waves on the shore.

We stayed in early July when the sun rises around 4.30 am. Blackout blinds in the bedroom would be useful. TIP: Take an eye mask (I always travel with one.) The double bed is a little on the small side. I'm 5ft 6ins and my feet reached the bottom of the bed.

Bedding was very comfortable but was leaving a trail of fluff everywhere
