Casa Bajo la Roca

Appartement très propre, bien situé, très calme. Literie confortable. L’hôte était joignable à tout moment et bienveillant. Expérience exceptionnelle.

This apartment is in a great location in the caves, overlooking the main street of Setenil de las Bodegas. It is a quirky little place, and extremely clean and comfortable. There is a set of stairs to get to the apartment and another set to get to the bedroom. The bathroom is on the lower level, so be aware if you don't like stairs at night and need to get up. Despite being above one of the two main streets, it was very quiet after the "day tourists" left town at around 6-7pm, and it was easy to sleep. We loved the small back balcony in the late afternoon overlooking Calle Sol. We parked in a car park, a 6 minutes walk to the apartment, and took small luggage with us just for two days, however the walk in is quite easy and you can wheel bags most of the way, despite a few cobblestones. Finding the cark park was bit tricky, as I think Google Maps got confused. Be prepared to drive down very narrow streets if you get lost as we did. We were unsure about parking in the village, as it is just for residents we heard, and you can get fined. The communication with the owner was great, and they recommended two lovely restaurants..... Maria Teresa's (up a hill nearby with stunning views at night) and Le Telera (on a corner below the apartment. Both were great.

Casa accogliente e molto caratteristica. Posizione perfetta

Ubicación maravillosa. A pesar de estar en pleno centro el silencio con las ventanas cerradas era absoluto. La anfitriona me llamó días antes para explicarme algunas cosas, aparcamiento, sitios de comer.....

Läget är fantastiskt, balkongen ger extra plus, sköna sängar och bra utrustat.

Todo muy limpio. Con todas las comodidades de un alojamiento moderno pero manteniendo el ambiente de un alojamiento rural. Los propietarios nos mantuvieron constantemente informados de la ubicación, lugar donde aparcar …
