The bathroom upstairs was not as clean as it should be. We used the oven and it needed to be cleans as it smoked the house out and set off all of the smoke alarms three times just from opening the oven door for a few seconds. It took ages to get them to spoke and our ears were ringing all evening. There was no QR code either in the kitchen or near the front door with instructions. The rug in the kitchen is a trip hazard and dangerous, some of the toaster slots do not work effectively ie only toast one side. There was no hand wash in the upstairs bathroom. In my experience of staying in places like this, usually a dishwasher tablet is left for each day of a stay. There wasn’t any and consequently we had to then take everything out and wash it by hand. That was the second time too as the glasses had lipstick on them, the plates and cutlery were smeared and the mugs had tea/coffee stains in. If you want the dishes to be cleaned properly, leave a dishwasher tablet!

Location and layout was perfect for our needs. Lovely surroundings too. Good quality bedding and great we could take the dog too. Excellent communication with Hannah before and during the trip. Would recommend.

Just needs a few more crockery items (plates and mugs) and we bought our own dishwasher tablets, dishcloth and kitchen roll. Slow wifi meant watching tv wasn't really possible.

We had a lovely stay at Stone Barn. It was a beautiful barn with every single amenity you would need. The host Hannah was extremely helpful with any questions we had and very responsive and we had an amazing stay. It felt like a home rather than a holiday stay with plenty of games, a little hamper and beautiful county views. Only a 8 minute drive to the town, it was perfect. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!

beautiful space, very peaceful, great amenities. looked even better than the pictures and catered for out large group (including dog) perfectly! we loved our stay and would love to stay again!

a few cobwebs in some places, shower in upstairs attic room was not great, the bins by the exit were all mixed up so separating things for recycling was pointless

Clean and very homely. Well decorated and modern!

Was a weird smell when we first arrived in one of the bedrooms, but it seemed to dissipate after a while and aired the room out.

Toxic fumes from sewage/waste made me ill overnight, the host knows it’s a problem. On contacting them their response was ‘I hope you had a pleasant stay despite the issues raised’
