Rowan a welcoming countryside lodge

Clean and tidy, very spacious and had all the amenities you need, including two fans which were very needed in the heatwave we had.

The fishing lake wasn’t very active and so our kids were disappointed they didn’t catch any.

Lodge was immaculately presented and very clean and comfortable. However price was slightly steep for time of year.

Beds were very uncomfortable and caused back stiffness and pain. Entrance and internal road leading to property is in poor state with hardly any tarmac left, also there aren't any lights which means coming in and out of property after dark wasn't a great experience

In a nutshell. Nearly Everything. Superb accomodation. Just one extra would have been most welcome. Instead of four picnic seats and two round tables on the decking balcony an availabie sun lounger(s) would have been a nice touch.

Nothing at all

It was bigger than we went expecting and kept to a good standard. Lots of little touches in the property like a bottle of milk, picnic sets, board games, fully stocked kitchenware etc were good touches. The area was a bit out of the way but very peaceful.
