"Lovely hosts, lovely property, would recommend."

Fantastic hosts and a beautiful stay. We were greeted on arrival and our hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The pictures do not do this place justice. Very comfortable (including the bed/pillows), warm and equipped with everything you could think of including a very lovely welcome package. A nice 30 minute drive to Edinburgh centre.

This was my 4th stay at the property. The location is great and very quiet with on-site, safe, parking Accommodation has everything that you need and is very cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hosts are fantastic. I am already booked in for my 5th visit next year.

The Host Sandra met us on arrival and gave lots of advice & information. The property was outstanding and very comfortable to stay in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying at this property and location.

It had everything we needed for comfortable 3 nights stay they was lovely welcome pack and bottle prosecco even sun house in the lovely garden .nothing was to much trouble for people who run this home

"A beautiful property"

Islay House is extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The icing on the cake was being able to sit in the summerhouse on sunny afternoons. It is ideally situated for the visits we made to Edinburgh, Leith, Linlithgow , Melrose and North Berwick. The property owner was extremely welcoming on our arrival.

Everything was perfect.

This was my third visit to Islay House in a year. It is much more than its description of a 'comfortable home with private garden'. The house is beautiful, clean and in a lovely setting with all the facilities that you need. The hosts are fabulous and cannot do enough for you. I am already planning my fourth visit.

Beautiful accommodation in a great location. The host couldn't have been more welcoming. The property waa clean, tidy, cosy and had everything we could have needed. Being able to bring our dog was fab and the host was so accommodating. Great facilities, location with lots of lovely walks,and beautiful garden!
