Harbour House Looe

Amazing location and the view. It was very relaxing to wake up to the sound of the sea and seagulls. Very peaceful. We could see and feel the care and the love the owners put into the house. Very well equipped - small touches like cooking ingredients readily available, chocolates on the side (loved by our little ones), welcome gifts and quick responses from the owners to questions. We have been to 20+ holiday homes and Harbour House Looe was the best stay in the UK! Thank you!

What a fabulous property. Plenty of room for the four of us (and puppy Coco). Everything we needed was provided for, with an added bonus of a gift voucher at one of the super shops in Looe to get anything extra we needed and some gifts to take home. The views from the front rooms and the terrace seating at the front of the house are incredible (a bonus was that we had great weather). The kitchen, bathrooms and living areas have everything you'll need and the beds are comfy. The kitchen has an Aga but there are plenty of instructions for novices like us and if you dont want to use it there is a microwave, kettle or air-fryer alternative. The property is just a very short walk to the harbour in Looe and the reguar ferry boats that take you over the harbour (when the tide is in) to the main hub of shops, restaurants and bars. If you have a car with you check in Looe for the cheap parking areas. Parking down by the harbour could prove costly if you are there for a week (like we were). But we asked the locals and were pointed in the right direction.

Fabulous views, amazing location. The house was amazing with lovely rooms (and gorgeous wooden floors). It was very clean and spacious and the mattresses great - slept like a log every night!! The owners were also lovely - sent texts and were very responsive! Recommendations were also ace and we loved the alpaca trekking, monkey sanctuary and boat trip!! Brilliant stay overall!!

The aga (Annie) took some getting used to as we’re used to the convenience of an electric oven. Could have done with a bigger saucepan too as to cook pasta for 6 was a challenge - but the BBQ was ace!!

Great views overlooking West Looe and the estury going into the sea. Lots of room. Very prompt and good communication with the hosts.

It would have been good to have a 'normal' hob and oven, if we were out for the day we had to put the aga on before we went out which I felt bad from an energy efficiency point. I did appreciate the ninja - but still needed a hob if we were using this. I had not appreciated how steep the hill was to access the house and it is a fair distance to park - this was not too much of a problem for us (other than laziness after a full day out!), however, the view from the house made it worth it!

prime location, property has everything you need and more, owners were really great and responsive. some really nice touches such as local gift basket on arrival. luxury house with all comforts you need for a great stay. would highly recommend. thank you!

The only thing that would have been good would be parking but the views make the walk up hill worth it 😊

Aga isn’t the best for a family of 8 it was very difficult to cook at the house. normally when a property has a Aga you also have an alternative. just isn’t practical for the size of our party and how busy we where.
