"Gorgeous base for walking/hiking"

10.0

A gorgeous cottage stay, very near to the train station and shops and easy to access walks and trails. The hosts were very welcoming and provided a delicious fresh cake and fresh milk and beer in the fridge. Lovely for a solo trail and very conveniently located whether you are driving or arriving by train. The weather was fantastic and I had some gorgeous walks across the hills with plenty of sheep and wild ponies. Views of the hills from the cottage too. Outstanding place to stay and will hopefully come again!

Everything was perfect.

"What a great Coach house to stay in with wonderful views"

10.0

Wow what a great find. I almost didnt want to share how lovely this coach house was incase its fully booked next time! On arrival we were greeted by the owners and there was freshly baked cake on the dining room table. There was milk and beer in the fridge. Mark makes honey so we bought some from him it was so fresh and tasted amazing. There were cereals , shampoo, conditioner , a range of towels to use it was more like a 1st class hotel. Great walks and lovely shops. Thank you Sylvie and Mark

"Lovely 5 night stay in this beautiful accomadtion & in a good location too"

9.0

We arrived on a cold, dark snowy late afternoon but once we removed our coats & boots & went up stairs to the living quarters, what a lovey warm & welcoming sight. The radiators were on & everywhere looked/felt so cosy & comfortable. Our hosts left us some home made muffins, a bottle of local full fat milk plus 2 bottles of beer, a lovely gesture. The kitchen was well fitted & well equipped. The bed was very comfortable & there were lovely views of the Shropshire hills virtually from every window. Location was very good to walk in to the town centre & also handy for the station which meant we could go to Shrewsbury one day & then Ludlow on another day. Browsing around town and eating out were very enjoyable

Nothing to dislike it was like 'home from home'
