Cosy Cottage, in the idyllic town of Holt

Lovely cottage in an ideal position.

Parking is expensive

The location is perfect! This is a perfect cottage for walking and exploring Holt. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The fresh milk and biscuits were a nice touch. Dinner at Byfords was really nice and only a 2 minute walk away from the cottage. Sunday lunch at The Globe Inn at Wells next the Sea was one of the best roast we have ever had. The cottage is perfectly placed to explore the Norfolk coast. We will be back again soon.

Parking is a little tight and you cannot leave your car outside but there is plenty of parking close by. The stairs are extremely steep and the step to the bathroom is a little awkward but that is part of the charm of this little cottage.

A beautiful little cottage - cute, stylish, and in a fantastic location, just a short walk into Holt. We had a minor issue with the heating upon arrival, but the owner responded immediately and had it sorted within 15 minutes. He was lovely, and the cottage stayed warm and cozy throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Nothing to not like

A beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. Very handily placed for Holt which is a delightful town. The car park over the road was lovely and close and reasonably priced. The cottage is in a quiet location and plenty of useful information was provided by the hosts both before and during the stay. Lovely big airy bathroom.

We found the cottage chilly, even with the heating on.. No additional blankets or throws were provided for either the lounge or the bedroom. Additional pillows would have been welcomed along with a more substantial duvet. The details did state that the bath was not suitable for those with mobility issues. Neither of us have any mobility issues at all, but it was difficult to get in and out of the bath due to its style and the shower screen.
