Adequate but no more.

Location on a busy road, causing sleepless nights Would not recommend it for children too close to the busy road,with no gate, also the bed bases in the two double bedrooms had dangerous wooden projections..

This was a fantastic, spacious property with all of the things that we like in a holiday house including a bath and a dishwasher! My daughter enjoyed looking at the books on the bookshelves in the dining room and I loved sitting outside in the back garden reading my book and drinking coffee in the unexpected February sunshine. The Dreel Tavern across the road was so lovely and the harbour is only a short walk away. Would recommend the Waterfront restaurant for food and we also enjoyed the coastal walk to Pittenweem.

One of the sofas in the large living room was slightly uncomfortable to sit on but there was nothing else that we didn't like. This was a great property and we would recommend it.

It wouldn’t stop us from booking again but the road is very busy, although quiet at night.

Location was perfect, scenery amazing, host had made sure everything was available, little touches, was like a home from home, highly recommend

The facilities were clean, in very good condition, and the kitchen contained the utensils and cooking items to make it very usable for meals.

Great location. Well equipped kitchen.

Better lighting in living room. Quite dark even with lamps on.

Close to the harbour in Anstruther, spacious and well-equipped, and the outside seating area is a bonus (if it isn’t raining). The house has lots of children’s books and games, which we didn’t use but would be great for a family with younger children. The kitchen was well-equipped and the TV and Wi-Fi worked very well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers worked well. The Dreel Tavern across the road is a great location for dinner.

There was some road noise from the street in the two front bedrooms, but it wasn’t too bad. Ear plugs were thoughtfully provided for light sleepers.

Ardlui was very central. Easy access to some really good restaurants. The Waterfront restaurant was excellent. food and service could not be faulted. Large portions and good prices.

The Bank's food was a little overcooked.
