Donmar Cottage

The cottage truly was a lovely cottage - pretty front yard and lovely view with the backyard. Rooms were clean, well supplied, and very comfortable. Heating units worked well and kitchen was well equipped with a nice table to eat at together. Washer and dryer were helpful. Private parking. There is a bus that runs from central Portree to a stop RIGHT next to the cottage - which was easy and convenient - but not sure how often the bus runs. Very quiet area since it is not in the middle of Portree.

Know that it is about a 25-30 minute drive to Portree from the cottage. With a car, getting around is easy - to Portree or the hiking trails and the rest of Skye. The hosts talked about Wifi in the house and installed extenders to help. Even so, Wifi could be spotty and a bit weak, but available. But just FYI if you need strong Wifi.

A dream house in countryside perfect for family came from city. 15 min.drive from Co-op Potree. Fully equipped kitchen to cook dinner. Would definitely recommend to anyone who comes to Skye for holiday.

Absolutely nothing to complain

We arrived late. The owner left the front door unlocled and the keys were on the coffee table. So easy!

We loved everything about this cottage.

Directions to the property could have been clearer mentioning the road sign for Bernisdale/Park Bernisdale on the main road.

Very clean and well equipped. Great to have an ensuite bathroom with each bedroom.
