Lovely property . Arrived it was cold and felt damp . Whilst looks beautiful . I felt like I was staying in my grans house , bedrooms etc . The basics were there so I continued to stay .

Parking the car in the field in the dark didn’t feel safe with no lights . I needed to find a torch to get back to the house . I live in the country in a remote house and didn’t feel safe .

Charm, gardens

Absolutely stunning property accessed via a long private driveway with gorgeous gardens. The large cottage is located within the grounds of the main house. Beautifully furnished throughout. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with a great shower & plenty of hot water available. Wifi worked very well. The cottage has its own large terrace where you could dine outside, weather permitting!

Being picky - The outside base of the shower needs a good clean. There were a few cobwebs scattered around. The outside furniture could do with a rub down & a lick of varnish.

The location and gardens

Lack of cleanliness and preparedness for the guests. Dirty- from the courtyard to the entrance, dirty glass doors and windows. Smelly sofas. Cracked plates, unsafe, scratched pans, cobwebs in the bathroom and rooms. Not good.

Beautiful country cottage, in a stunning location! We couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived!
