GBGBLovely cottage and garden. The food that was left for us was really appreciated, delicious sausages! Great location for what we needed. Would definitely return, hopefully in the warmer weather so we can sit out on the lovely terrace.
We liked everything about the cottage, only had a few issues with working the tv, plenty of channels to choose from when it worked but had a few problems with loss of signal.
GBwe loved this little retreat, so secluded and peaceful, I loved having the little robins outside every morning, and being greeted by the old lovely dog, hearing the owls in the fields late at night, and just hearing silence. also the complimentary breakfast ingredients and tea and hot chocolate etc, was such a lovely gesture. we literally didn’t need for nothing. owners were very welcoming and caring. this was such a beautiful little place so close to home but yet felt so far away. we had a perfect peaceful time and without doubt will be going back asap. the bed was so comfy, the sofa was very comfy too, we watched Netflix for a whole day, it was the best little break with out the kids. thanks again cath and Steve for welcoming us into this beautiful little place x
I cannot think of a single fault, but just for others information - the shower takes 5 mins to hot up so give it a few mins before getting straight in.
GBLovely cottage in a nice quiet area with a lovely view. We stayed in February and would imagine be even better when the weather is better for sitting outside and enjoying the scenery.

Slightly tricky to find. Heron hill is a narrow lane and the gate isnt marked but a quick phone call and wallah. Bar that getting in and out of the driveway is slightly tricky if your car is big and potentially unwise if you drive a car with low ground clearance. Bar that nothing bad. Its lovely.
