Bank Bottom Cottage

Lovely, compact little lodge. It had everything we needed for a few nights stay.

It would have been nice to have cotton duvet cover instead of heavy fluffy covers. Bit bed was comfy and still had a good nights sleep.

It was our first few days away with our 1 year old Labrador and was exactly what we were looking for. Location was perfect. Lovely canal walk to the village. Hosts were very friendly and helpful x

Property is ideal for 2 and our dogs are welcome. Lots of beautiful places to visit within a 10 minute drive. Hosts are wonderful

Lovely location, cozy stay and wonderful hosts. Happy to help out, but with plenty of privacy if that's what you would prefer.

Could possibly miss the turning to get to the house, but the directions provided were clear and helped us find them.

It was clean and well equipped.

One of the doors of the property couldn’t be locked. The dining table and chairs were hemmed in by the excessively long settee; whilst there was room to move the dining table out, I was reluctant to do so as I wasn’t sure how the glass top and legs were connected to one another. The electric lights were of too low a power and this hampered the crafting we were doing on an evening. Finally, neither of us liked the duvet cover which was made from a fleece-like material; this wouldn’t have been so bad if there’d been a top sheet over which the duvet was laid.

Had a lovely time staying here, great location and lovely hosts, this place is ideal for exploring the surrounding area
