Kilronan Self Catering - Eoropie, Isle of Lewis

Stunning accomodation in the far north of Lewis. The house is new, clean, silent, comfortably and perfectly equipped. The owner, Winnie, is respectful and discrete but prompt, present and very supportive in case of need. Quiet and peaceful sourroundings. Perfect accomodation for families. Frankly, one of the best guest-experience I ever tried.

The property is a lovely detached home with everything a guest could need including fantastic amenities, clean nicely decorated and well furnished rooms, a lovely host, wonderful views and excellent WiFi. The property is much larger than appears in photos and is a great stay for anyone visiting Lewis. The host is welcoming and knowledgeable, we were given all the privacy we wanted with help on hand whenever required.

The house is charming, very clean and is equipment with everything one can ask for. The host is very nice and welcoming. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Kilronan. The property is remote but the view is spectacular.

Great communication before arrival removed any doubts for our trip. Host met us on our late Sunday arrival and had left some lovely provisions knowing shops would be closed. You could mistake the house as being brand new it was so clean and fresh. Lovely views from the kitchen of the surrounding fields and beach. Great place to unwind and get your walking boots on.

There's nothing not to like about this property or host

Beautiful house in a cute neighborhood in Ness. We were so comfortable we immediately felt at home. The house has very recently been renovated so everything is immaculate and top quality. Best water pressure we’ve had in Scotland. Beds are super comfy, the two bathrooms are huge, the kitchen is also very large with everything you could possibly want for cooking. I especially appreciated the brand new cookware. Too often in self catering places the cookware is scratched up and nasty. Not so here. Winnie is such a lovely hostess and leaves lots of treats for her guests. It was hard to leave! Gorgeous beach walk 5 minutes away, another lovely walk to the lighthouse. And for EV vehicles, there is a medium fast charger at the sports center a ten minute walk away. This is not as remote as the map would have you believe. There are several restaurants in the area (driving), and the food store at Cross, 15 minutes away, has great food including meats and pastries.

From the very beginning of our stay we were excited! Though coming very late, Winnie was there to meet us. We felt like at home. The basic foodstuff was in the fridge, so even if coming directly from the airport, you would not be left hungry:-). Whenever we wanted any advice or help, Winnie was there. The house is just marvelous, cozy, luxurious and very convenient. All tiny details are made up to the perfection. Standing in the kitchen, you overlook sand dunes at the seaside, hearing the surf of Atlantic ocean. Walking around is so nice. Every step brings you new and new stunning views. If you go further (car needed), you can explore whole Lewis. Many trails and tracks suggested in the materials you will find in the house for your convenience. It was one of our greatests holidays ever. Thank you, Winnie!

The journey to Kilroran was long and windy but with beautiful scenery which we enjoyed. The host was not able to meet us on arrival but she had left the door unlocked. The house was perfect, clean, warm and comfortable, everything we needed and more, we especially loved the treats. The view from the house was stunning, green and peaceful with views of sea and sand in the distance. Absolutely recommend Kilronan if visiting Lewis

Only the journey was long and windy but if you are on holiday thats not really a problem. The views on Lewis are spectacular
