Capel- Y-Bryniau

Lovely modern, homely chapel conversion. Everything is to a high standard with comfortable beds, lovely bath and shower room and little extra touches like tea, coffee, books to read and games to play. Stunning scenery and handy location between Machynlleth and Aberdyfi. We visited for the rev Awdry experience in Tywyn. This is a great base for exploring, Everything seems within a reasonable distance.

The Chapel is situated along the coast line, only a few miles away from the beautiful little seaside town of Aberdovey and surrounded by hills and walks. The Chapel is lovely and clean, with everything you need for a break away. Perfect little retreat

Layout great and loved open plan double stairs.

All good. Only negative was couldn’t find an airer to hang any washing done on.

Lovely property on main road into Aberdyfi...safe, clean and secure. Everything you need is there. Good guidance and instructions from owner. Easy access to rear fields for dog walking.

We couldn't get the oven to work

Excellent private, relaxing get away. If only it was ours. Views of lovely countryside and sheep with their baby lambs.

Lovely views, fresh air, away from the towns, and very comfortable beds, towels, and warm thanks to the very thick walls. Wood burner worked well, and kitchen very well equipped. Spacious, nice, natural feel to the layout. Loved the velux windows upstairs for sheep gazing. Good comms, easy to find, with a self entry and exit lock box. Right of way on both sides of the road for walking out, and close to waterfalls, steam trains, beach and seaside towns.

We were unlucky after all the rain as the front door had expanded and wedged in place, so check first if you're not super strong or you may have to use an alternative exit in the morning before it heats up :). Second bedroom could do with a small bedside table to put things on, and would have loved a floor rug downstairs for kids to play on, but very small points.

Everything. Clean, very well renovated and good facilities. Loved the location.
