WELCOMEHOUSE close to east beach, shops, restaurants and RAF base

The property was clean and well situated for us as we were there for a golf competition

The weather was rather disappointing

Like having the garden, lovely welcome box, additional items provided eg toiletries, hosts contacted us to see if we had settled in all right.

Liked the fact we could come back to house for lunch then go out again.There was a garden but due to winter season didn’t use it but could have been nice in summer close to beautiful beach

The house was shockingly dirty, kitchen surfaces and table had to be wiped with antibacterial wipes, microwave,fridge,freezer needing cleaned. Leaking coffee machine dirty toaster.sitting room surfaces dusty. The bathroom was newly fitted so fine but despite owner saying house was cleaned it was not should have taken pictures of wipes after cleaning kitchen as proof. As a professional cleaner think my knowledge of what is clean and what is not is more accurate than owners.The reason for cleaning was firstly because I was uncomfortable with the dirt and grim.Just leaving honest review as expected higher standard for price. Didn’t mention welcome basket because full of cheap unbranded goods most of which ended up in bucket better to leave more useful items like butter and fresh bread, selection of fresh fruit. Owner did come round to show how door locked but was a difficult one when unfamiliar with it. Owners response suggests I asked for a refund not the case at all just will never stay again and not recommend property, or Lossiemouth due to nothing but a beach,noisy jet planes for RAF base and seagulls. Posting honest review because although seaside theme touches make it look nice personally would put cleanliness as a priority to decorative touches. There maybe previously top rated reviews which I had read and led me to book but everyone should be aware not all reviews are totally honest.This one is.
