"We had a lovely stay at Ravenstone."

10.0

Close to centre of Church Stretton village, lots of shops / cafes etc nearby, close to walks. Great for family of 4. Clean, tidy house with good amenities High spec bathrooms / kitchen and nice little back yard. Easy to check in and out We enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine, nice added touch!

Only slight negative is that the house is on the main road so a little bit of car noise and no direct parking, but spaces available on nearby roads. All this was stated in the booking so not a surprise and worth it for central location.

The property is a beautifully quaint English cottage in an equally quaint village. My only criticism is that we were only able to stay 1 night because of our itinerary. Would happily have stayed a week. The owners were wonderful with their communication. Thankyou so much.

"Enjoyed our stay. Great location and comfortable but road a bit noisy"

8.0

We had a lovely stay there. The living room is large with 2 comfy sofas. The large kitchen diner is also a great space and well equipped with little exras. There is also a downstairs shower room. The accommodation, although old, is nicely furnished with a lovely homely feel with lots of little touches that make it feel loved. The garden was great for letting the dogs out.

The road, although not busy, is noisy. The rear bedroom mattress could do with a Memory foam topper for additional comfort. The garden security light was flashing on and off then it stayed on all the time.

"It was a overnight stay, location is great, the place has plenty of space for 4 people. Price OK :-)"

Location in Church Stretton is ideal

1. With no parking, and double yellow lines outside - loading/unloading a car is a bit of a faff. Yes, you can park down the road - but some kind of parking agreement with the pub over the road would be nice and make life easier. 2. The search for the sink plug in the kitchen! 3. The TV - no instructions, and it's not that tricky to figure out how to use it. But 3 lines of instructions - could make life alot simple simpler for future guests.

"Nice house in need of TLC"

4.0

Comfortable beds and nicely appointed bedrooms. Hosts replaced missing remote promptly.

Needed a spruce up - peeling paint on bathroom walls, poorly filled holes in walls, wires trailing from tv. Comfortable enough but not clean enough. Kitchen cupboard handles greasy. No dish washer and ancient fridge. Hoover full and cupboards full of junk.

"Convenient location nice property needs a little TLC. Suggest charge a bit more and plough it back into a few extras."

7.0

Self contained and well equipped

Lacked a feel of comfort. Everything that was needed was there but a little tired and basic.
