Hidden Gem Cottage, Driffield

This cottage is centrally located in Driffield. The cottage was clean and cosy and OK considering all we planned to do was sleep there as we had plans for the daytime. The shower was easy to operate and was warm instantly. We used the downstairs TV and that was fine, once we worked out how to change the channels.

It was a lot smaller than I expected, the overall space is probably not much bigger than a Premier Inn hotel room. The toilet/shower room is absolutely tiny and the bed takes up 90% of the floor space in the bedroom. The downstairs room is sparsely furnished, not that much else would fit if it is to have any space at all. If you have plans to swing a cat, forget them.

Brilliant location, everything we needed for a short get away.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The cottage was used for the night before our wedding and then the wedding night. We were not in it very much but it suited the purpose.

The space is just enough for 1 or 2 persons. The host is approachable and helpful.
