The property was clean and homely. Well stocked, with an unexpected welcome grocery pack.

We liked everything about the accommodation. Long Melford is a well visited village, there is no parking with the property, so the roadside parking spaces can be limited and not near your accommodation, especially at weekend. This didn't detract from our stay..

The Host goes the extra miles and ensures that everything is ready, there is quiet music playing, milk in the fridge as well as treats on the side. Easy access to the Cottage which is in the center of the village easy walking distance to the pubs, tea houses and grocery stores. The street parking is first come first served outside, but it was never difficult to get a spot.

We had some issues with the front door lock, but could easily get into the cottage from the back. The Host is going to have the door repaired.

The attention to detail. Music to welcome us in. The snacks and supplying of little things. The culture of the guest book.
