My Place Go - Cirencester

The house is superbly presented in a private courtyard with parking for 2 cars, a great place for a family get together. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to the town centre with so many good places to eat and drink. The local amenities are excellent. Battel Mews is a superb base to explore the Cotswolds. I can’t recommend it highly enough. A great host too.

The weather could have been better, but that’s England!

Everything. Fabulous accommodation, spacious, clean , warm. One on suite plus extra downstairs WC.Brilliant location just off town centre with bonus of on site parking. Restaurants , shops , pubs etc. all within minutes of walking. Perfect. Highly recommended.

One way traffic system around the town centre , though it was not really a problem as we only had to negotiate it once. On site parking meant we didn't need to venture out.

The location was good.

There's a list. When we arrived they were oyster shells which we thought accounted for the smell when we opened the door left on the kitchen surface, luckily the owner arrived at this point and saw the mess and cleaned it up. The smell continued for the whole of our stay. It was also freezing in the house but the owner rectified this by sorting the heating out. There was dried on food on plates pans and spoons packed away in the cupboard I don't think the dishwasher was working properly. The plug sockets in the kitchen were loose and coming away from the wall. The iron had a black sticky mark on it. There was also a small leak in the bathroom by the toilet.

The location and parking availibility were great.

The mattresses were uncomfortable and have perhaps seen a little to much use. There was a wardrobe in one room but no clothes storage in the other two apart from a few hooks on the wall. The bathroom was dated and could do with modernising. The kitchen was grubby - mold on the refrigerator door seal, the freezer had not been defrosted recently. The microwave was smelly and dirty. The hot tap handle was broken off. Items of crockery and cutlery had not been cleaned properly.

Excellent location. 2 min walk to centre. House was very clean and very well equipped with a great kitchen and comfy beds. Could not fault the property at all. Will definately be booking again.

Lovely well maintained Mews Cottage. Complete facilities just like home. Elizabeth the owner is friendly have even a CD collection. Walking distance to the small town centre. Private area with parking convenience. Will be back! Lucky us it snowed when we went in November!

Mattress bit soft but it's ok still comfy. Maybe need a hair dryer we brought our own. Overall nothing not to like!
