Clifton House

Lovely period property in quiet neighbourhood within 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Property had everything we needed. Exceptionally clean. Bed very comfortable. Lia the host was friendly, great with communication and very accommodating. Great value for money! Would stay again.

Electric shower disappointing. Very low pressure. Difficult to regulate the temperature. Otherwise would have scored a 10!

Large, comfortable house with a wonderfully magical wee garden.

My elderly mum struggled a little with the oddly shaped top stair and access to the upstairs bathroom.

The size of gardner was fantastic, a real hidden gem but was very overgrown and due to wet weather we got soaked by the overhanging and overgrown bushes

Beautifully furnished and well equipped home with a delightful garden. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location and easy to take the riverside walk into town. Very handy convenience store at end of road.

As it's an older house, the doors and locks are also older. One of the locks jammed so take extra care when locking up.

A comfortable and spacious house, including the huge garden! Well equipped kitchen - together with tea, coffee and milk (much appreciated).

Stairs are steep with tricky turn into the bathroom. We were glad of the lighting on the landing. Appreciated a hairdryer being provided but needed a mirror in the back bedroom.
