The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It has been newly refurbished. The beds are extremely comfortable with high quality linen- the robes were a lovely touch, as was the ‘welcome pack’ (bread, butter, jam, tea and milk 🙂). We loved the hot tub. Waking up to birdsong each morning and rainfall was very restorative. I will miss this place. Thank you to the owners for all your efforts

There are a couple of quite large potholes on the approach to the property- drive carefully to negotiate your way around them.

Property was very clean and a lovely quiet location. Cottage was ideal for our short break away had everything we needed. Hosts were excellent and readily available if we had any questions.

This was our second time staying at the cottages and the first time in the farmhouse. The cottages are just beautiful and are fully kitted out so the only thing you need to take is your food for the stay. There's tea, coffee, sugar, butter milk, water, even jam for your toast in the morning and lots of cooking utensils, pots and pans. The grounds are impeccable and the children and the dogs loved running around. It's super easy to find even though it's really secluded, which we love. We'll definitely be back.

The beds were a little hard for our liking but you can't always please everyone and the drive to the cottages is absolute full of pot holes so be super careful when driving.

Comfortable with everything you need in the cottage. The hot tub in the evening was lovely after a days hiking.

Peace and quiet, welcoming hosts, dog friendly, lots of walks on the doorstep, comfy beds and hot tubs with starry skies. Easy access to Whitby and Pickering with North Yorks Railway. Appreciated welcome pack.
