The Cabin

We visited Chester Zoo and parkrun which meant The Lodge was right in the middle of everything. It was clean, comfortable, cosy and private. It felt as though you were staying in a forest. We met the host by timing and she was such a pleasure and couldn't do enough for us. Parking was very easy. We will be back.

We did have some snail marks on our shoes overnight, not sure how they got in and it's not the hosts fault but something for them to be aware of!

The Cabin is a little cosy place, in the garden of the owners. Was great for a one night stay. Given it is a cabin, there is a bit of dust smell but we got past that. It is a cute place with what you need for a one night stay. Host was excellent. Had great instructions as to how to get to the property.

Nothing we didn't like. It can get noisy at night if there is wind/rain which there was.

An all round nice little getaway place.

The air fryer was mouldy. The toaster didn't work.

A cute little cottage with all the facilities we needed. Lee was very welcoming. Very convenient to Chester city.

Great location, short walk into Chester. Spacious,comfortable and clean.

Everything was perfect, lovely host and the cabin was spotless. Check in was easy. Host communication was great, asked about the heating and got a reply within a few minutes. Cabin has everything you need. Would be very surprised if anyone could find an issue.

We had a very short stay, we came for Chester Zoo, stayed for 2 nights. But the log Cabin is beautiful. Really quiet no noise, on top of everything retail park just down the road if you want anything. Chester Zoo 5mins away. Good place to stay as everything is around you.
