Foxglove Cottage

Lovely cottage in a nice little village. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance serving great food. 5 of us had a fabulous long weekend stay.

This was one of the loveliest places we have stayed. The house and furnishings were beautiful and it had everything we needed and more. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the location was great for exploring the forest. Any questions were answered immediately. We hope to return!

It was like going to a lovely relatives home. Very welcoming and fully equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen has lots of crockery etc snd all the small touches like tea coffee biscuits oils dishwasher tablets etc. Had arts and crafts activities, a great sunny garden with outdoor furniture. Great location with pubs and walks nearby. Lots of information about walks and tourist attractions. The sofa in the sitting room was the most comfortable I’ve ever sat on. There is shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms and it’s the best holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot!

Could do with some sharper knives!

The property was one of the best equipped places I’ve stayed. There was an amazing array of herbs and spices, teas, coffees and a biscuit jar. There were plenty of dishes and cutlery. The garden was small but inviting with lots of border flowers and birds. The house was well proportioned, comfortable and warm. And if you have dogs or like a quick morning jog around a flat area, there’s a park a minutes walk from the cottage.

Perfect location for a wedding we were attending at the castle. The host had thought of everything, made it a lovely break away :) highly recommend and would definitely come back to stay again.

Well equipped homely space in a lovely location. Had an issue with hot water but host talked us through resetting the boiler and available online. A real relaxing stay. Great food at the butchers Arms a 10 minute walk. Would return.

Great cottage in a lovely village. Perfect for a weekend walking easy distance to the Wye Valley and 2 good pubs within 10 minutes walk in the village Good communication from the owners and easy access upon arrival Would highly recommend this Cody cottage as a place to stay
